Linda Silver holds a Master of Fine Arts and began her career as an artist known for her distinctive style. Her work blended acrylic paint, embroidery, and intricate pencil design into a unique and recognizable art form.
Her abstract pieces were collected by private clients and interior designers and exhibited in galleries throughout the United States. As demand grew, Linda found herself working full time to keep up with commissions.
In 1985, Linda Silver Designs was born.
Encouraged by a client, she began producing upscale decorative pillows to complement her artwork. She opened a showroom in the Design and Decorating Building (D&D Building), supplying decorators and luxury retailers including Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and other upscale boutiques.
A few years later, she opened her own boutique in Great Neck, New York, where she expanded into home furnishings and curated collections for her growing clientele.
As the years passed, the store continued to evolve as Linda built lasting relationships with her clients. They became the heart of the business.
Over time, she expanded into women’s wear and accessories, designing one-of-a-kind and limited edition upscale fashion jewelry while also serving as a consultant and buyer for select boutique jewelry manufacturers.
