The year was 1985, the birth of Linda Silver Designs…
Linda started manufacturing a line of upscale pillows. Opening a Show Room in the Design & Decorating Building( D&D Building) , selling primarily to decorators and stores like Bloomingdles, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodmans, and Upscale Boutiques…
A few years later, she decided to open her boutique in the town where she lives, Great Neck, N.Y….
She immediately started to add more and more items in the world of home furnishings…
As the years passed, The store kept evolving as Linda got to know her clients.
They became the heart of the business…
She also started to expand into women’s wear accessories…
Designing not only“one of a kind and limited edition unique upscale fashion jewelry” but acting as a consultant, AND a buyer, with a number of boutique jewelry manufacturers….
Fast forward, in 2020 she decided to change her business model…
Her vision was focusing more and more on the company’s growing reputation in displaying her fashions at charity events, in addition to her own events catering to her own private clientele…
She exited the home furnishing arena and closed the retail store…
